The work in focus
Railway section
Rail laying is a linear construction task in which repeated elements form a continuous route. The work is understood through its relationship with the supporting railway structure and the adjacent installation stages. The recorded OSAN appointment concerns the laying of rails on the crossing.
OSAN undertook rail laying on the railway section of the Kerch Strait Bridge project in 2019. The OSAN budget associated with that rail-laying scope is USD 98 million.

Rail, layer by layer.
Alignment and geometry
A route is a connected geometric system. Its line, levels and supporting structure establish the context for installation. In rail work, the relationship between the rail, its support and the adjacent sections gives continuity to the constructed route.

Layers and support
Infrastructure is understood through the interaction of its layers. The visible surface or installed element depends on the supporting construction beneath it. Their junctions and transitions are as important to the reading of the system as each layer itself.
Construction boundaries
Civil work connects different packages at defined boundaries. Building infrastructure, a playing surface and a railway installation each create different coordination questions. A precise scope distinguishes the installation itself from the structures and systems around it.
